Class II Type A2 – Recirculatory System

The Class II Type A2 biosafety cabinet recirculates approximately 70% of the HEPA-filtered laminar airflow back into the workspace, while the remaining 30% is exhausted through a HEPA filter into the ambient environment. This model is ideal for general microbiological work, offering balanced protection and energy efficiency.

Class II Type B2 – 100% Exhaust System

The Class II Type B2 biosafety cabinet is a total exhaust system, meaning it expels 100% of the HEPA-filtered air directly into the ambient environment without recirculation. This single-pass system is suited for working with volatile chemicals and radionuclides, ensuring maximum safety and containment.
